As a result of the rapid development in modern building and auto manufacture industries, there occurs not only a rapid increase in demand for glass and products made of glass, but also the increasingly higher requirements for its functions, varieties as well as quality. The mission of Xinyi Glass is to meet the demand high-quality float glass and its up to standard processed products based on glass from the customers throughtout the world. Founded in 1988, Xinyi Glass has established five different production bases with a total area of 1,000,000m2 in Shenzhen, Dongguan, Hong Kong, Wuhu as well as Tianjin, and set up branches and representative offices across China with current employment size exceeded 5000 people. Apart from mainland China, Xinyi also set up sales offices in Europe, North America, Japan and Hong Kong SAR. In February 2005, Xinyi Glass Holdings Limited, with its headquarter located in Hong Kong SAR, was listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.
Xinyi Glass has in total ten (10) auto glass plants respectively located in its five production bases, with all key equipments and process technologies introduced from technically advanced countries. Their main production lines have very high degree of automation, furthermore, their management system, process technique as well as product quality are all up to the applicable international standards. In addition, two (2) special plants designed to produce molding and hardware fittings to integrate with our glass products as a whole to meet the demand from car manufacters.. At present, Xinyi Glass produces more than 30,000 different models, which cover all present main auto types available across the world. The production capacity of auto windscreen ranks the number 1 in the People’s Republic of China.
Owing to the reinforcement of national architectural energy saving policy and the increase in demand of building industry for processed glass, Xinyi Glass built the architectural glass processing center in the production base located in Dongguan, which center is the current largest one in Asia. The processing center takes LOW-E (low-emission) glass as its major products and its key equipment is a coating line imported from Germany. In order to produce high quality low E products, the cutting, grinding, tempering, insulating equipments are imported from Europe, which equipments are considered as the best in the world. accordingly, the product quality is in line with the international standards.
In order to ensure the supply and the quality of raw materials, Xinyi Glass built two float glass lines in Dongguan base with a total daily melting capacity of 1,200T, the major purposes of the aforesaid two (2) production lines are to produce high-quality glass conforming to the international quality standard with the specifications ranging from the ultra-thin (1.6mm) to the ultra-thick (30mm) used for the processing of “downstream” glass. Guided by the concept of high orientation and high requirements, Xinyi Glass entrusted an internationally recognized company to provide design service for such project, all the related equipments and materials were imported from such advanced countries as America, France, Belgium, Germany and Italy in a selective manner on the basis of their respective advantages, thus all procedures ranging from the processing of raw material to terminal product stacking are able to be automatized. The successful construction of the project make possible the production cost reduction, logistics management optimization as well as the efficiency improvement, due to the effective integration of the enterprise through the industry chain. In 2006, Xinyi Glass initiated the solar photovoltaic glass production project, whereby its great spirit and goal to extend the product structure to a higher level.
Xinyi Glass is oriented to devote itself to the research and development of new and high-tech products. As early as 1997, Xinyi Glass was certified as a new and high-tech enterprise of Shenzhen, and Xinyi Glass Technology Center won the recognition by Shenzhen Enterprise Technology Center in 2003, becoming the first of its kind in glass industry winning the technical recognition in South China. Xinyi Glass Technology Center has a R & D and design workforce of over 200 staffs; possesses the advanced technologies and is equipped with sophisticated equipments; as well as has the high-end auxiliary development system for automobile glass and data exchange platform, thus being able to meet the needs for data exchange in design system and synchronous development with the appropriate automobile manufacturers. In 2006, Xinyi Glass successfully developed on its own the SOLAR-X solar heat reflecting automobile glass which is of advanced technology, which fills up the domestic gap in this field. Furthermore, Xinyi Glass developed a series of high-tech products including various kinds of Low-E glass which are able to be processed in different places, whereby its powerful strength in technical research, technological innovation and development of new products are fully demonstrated.
Based its existence and development on desirable quality, Xinyi Glass devised and maintains the sound management system according to a strict standard. The qualify and the related technical indicators of all products are up to or exceed the requirements effected in the appropriate regions and countries where the appropriate products are put into use, and passed various strict certifications currently effected in China as well as the related economically developed regions and countries; The quality management system of Xinyi Glass passed ISO/TS16949 Certification widely recognized in the international auto industry and ISO/9001: 2000 Certification for the construction industry, and was awarded the qualifications of class A design and first-class construction for curtain wall engineering.

At present, Xinyi automobile glass products are sold to 100 different countries across the world, with its export ranking first among other counterparts in China and exceeding 1/3 of the total export of the domestic products of the same kind.
